Let’s Say Thanks

December
A few quick things before we head to the Ranch for Christmas:
- If you get a chance today, visit letsgivethanks.org. Xerox is sponsoring a program where you can send holiday greetings to servicemen and women, decorated with the art of about 25 kids. It’s really cool. It doesn’t cost anything and I bet it’s really nice to get one.
- Interesting feedback from the Melissa Etheridge article on Rick Warren that I posted yesterday. I have a little to say about it, but I don’t have time right now. If you missed it, it’s here. And tell me what you think.
- Props to my SIL, who got me what I have been pining for for Christmas (for like, a year)! Check it out. I’m hiding so that you will continue to have a Merry Christmas and not be silenced by my hideousness.

A dustbuster! You have no idea how excited I am! It’s the little things, really.
So we are off in a few hours to see the Hicks family, which will be awesome. Probably won’t post much until we get back, so please have a very merry Christmas. I will leave you with the words from my favorite Christmas carol:
Joy to the World
The Lord is Come
Let Earth receive Her King
Let Every Heart Prepare Him Room
And Heaven and Nature Sing
And Heaven and Nature Sing
And Heaven and Nature Sing
Joy to the World
The Savior Reigns
Let Men Their Songs Employ
While Fields and Floods
Rocks, Hills, and Plains
Repeat the Sounding Joy
Repeat the Sounding Joy
Repeat the Sounding Joy
No More Let Sing and Sorrows Grow
Nor Thorns Infest the Ground
He Comes to Make
His Blessings Flow
Far as the Curse Is Found
Far as the Curse Is Found
Far as the Curse Is Found
He Rules the World
With Truth and Grace
And Makes the Nations Prove
The Glories of His Righteousness
And Wonders of His Love
And Wonders of His Love
And Wonders of His Love
Isaac Watts. They don’t write ‘em like that anymore.
